And So It Begins

We are just weeks away from the return of what will hopefully be a relatively Covid-Free college football existence. We long for a season devoid of partisan politics encroaching on our highly-partisan rivalries.

We want to see a full stadium, everyone dressed in White when Auburn visits Penn State in September. We want Ohio State and Michigan to play this year after missing out last year. From Roll Tide in Alabama to Bear Down in Arizona to Fight On for Old S.C. to Ralphie storming the field a mile high in Colorado to Hook ‘em and Gig ‘em in the Lone Star State to the words WE ARE pulsing from Penn State….here’s hoping football is back.

And this year I’ll be joining up with Fox43 Sports Anchor Todd Sadowski and my old coaching colleague Tom Bradley to bring you Nittany Game Week. For 20 weeks beginning in late August through January we’ll bring you all you need to know to be ready for the game.

The show is called Nittany Game Week because each week coaches review the previous game, look at the next opponent. We’ll do the same thing for you. This show is unique because we’ll give you tips on players, match-ups and schemes that will be critical in each week’s game. You’ll have a game plan ready when you sit down to watch the game in the stadium or with friends or at home on TV.

And if that’s not enough, I’ll be writing each week bringing you my Pigskin Stew Blog for what will be its 5th season. The Pigskin Stew takes you around the country with insights on the biggest games each week.

And so it begins……
